Overview

The Office of State Fire Marshal is announcing its intent to adopt the 2022 Connecticut State Fire Prevention Code based on the 2021 edition of NFPA 1 - Fire Code. A technical review will be conducted by the Fire Prevention Code Advisory Committee in conjunction with the State Fire Marshal. 

The intended adoption date is October 1, 2022. Details regarding the process and meeting schedules can be found on the Meeting/Agenda page, this will be revised as necessary. 

Parties interested in submitting proposals are encouraged to send them to State Fire Marshal William Abbott.
