Obtaining Car wash Tickets:

To help keep your leased vehicles clean and looking sharp, DAS Fleet Operations offers car wash services at no additional expense to agencies. All requests for car wash tickets should be made by the ATA. For coupons, please contact DAS.FLEET@ct.gov, or call us at 860-713-5160. Please include your agency, the number and type of coupons you are requesting, and the interoffice mail location they will be delivered to. It can also be arraigned to have an agency staff member pick them up at our office in Hartford, at 155 Morgan Street.

Services offered are:

WASH ONLY – An exterior wash of the vehicle.

FULL SERVICE – An external wash and an interior cleaning/vacuum.

DETAILING SERVICE (additional cost to the agency) – Detailing services are available on a case by case basis depending on the need, such as stain removal and shampooing carpets and seating areas. This is an additional service with a pricing schedule that is either per vehicle, or per hour (see our vendor list for details). Agencies can make an appointment and bring their vehicles to vendors on the list. Services can be purchased with their agency P-Card in accordance with General Letter 71 guidelines.

BIO-HAZARD CLEANING (additional cost to the agency) – There are instances where an auto detailing vendor will not accept the job at hand. For any cleaning services needed in regards to bio-hazards (blood, urine, vomit, feces), DAS Fleet Operations has been using Servpro. Services can be purchased with their agency P-Card in accordance with General Letter 71 guidelines. Perform an online search for a franchise nearest your location. Many franchises have been used already, so no tax will be applied to the bill. If a franchise has not been used before, a CERT-134 from the Department of Revenue Services may need to be filled out and submitted to the franchise to avoid being taxed for the services performed.
