Where can I learn more about Telecommunications?

We provide telecommunications, end-user device support, and Enterprise collaboration services to the State of Connecticut’s Executive Branch agencies.

The tech team at the Department of Administrative Services Bureau of Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Unified Communications Division does many important things for the government in Connecticut.

Telecommunications and Device Help

We offer support for phones and other devices to help different government offices work together better.

Enterprise Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

We use a complex system called Voice over Internet Protocol to save costs on phone calls and ensure everyone throughout agencies can easily communicate. This system was set up in 2013 and helps many offices like DDS, DSS, DHMAS, and more.

Regular Phones and Services

We also handle the phones and services that government offices need to talk to each other.

Contracts and Bids

We work with another team to ensure we get the best deals when buying agency equipment. This includes things like phones and services.
