Gov. Malloy: Global Leader in Corporate Relocation Management Services to Expand and Grow Jobs in Danbury
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Cartus Corporation, a leading provider of global relocation services, is expanding its headquarters in Danbury to grow its presence in the state after considering other options in New York and Texas. As part of the project, Cartus will retain 1,275 jobs in Connecticut and create as many as 200 new jobs for residents over the next five years.

Gov. Malloy Hails House Passage of Legislation Protecting Owners and Handlers of Domesticated Horses
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today thanked the Connecticut House of Representatives for approving legislation he introduced that will protect the owners and handlers of domesticated horses by clarifying into law that domesticated horses are not wild animals and as such are not “inherently dangerous.”

Gov. Malloy Applauds Bipartisan House Passage of Bill in Support of UTC Agreement
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today hailed the Connecticut House of Representatives’ bipartisan passage of a bill that supports an agreement the Governor reached last month with United Technologies Corporation (UTC) under which the company will invest up to $500 million to upgrade and expand its aerospace research and development and manufacturing facilities over the next five years.
