WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON REVITALIZING BLIGHTED LANDS TO SPUR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in Norwich to make an announcement regarding the release of state funding to revitalize and redevelop abandoned and blighted properties throughout the state in an effort to grow jobs and improve quality of life. He will be joined by Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Rob Klee, Mayor Deb Hinchey, and other state and local officials.
