FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE ON EFFORTS TO ENSURE LOW INCOME RESIDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO LEGAL SERVICES
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in New Haven to discuss a legislative proposal he introduced that will increase funding for legal services for people who otherwise could not afford it. He will be joined by Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Mayor Toni Harp, representatives of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, representatives of the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, and clients who have benefited from legal aid.
