Marine Lance Corporal Tyler O. Griffin, June 4, 1990 – April 1, 2010 died due to injuries sustained during combat operations in Afghanistan. He graduated from platoon 2086, "G" Company, 2nd Battalion at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. He was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom as a member of 1st Battalion 2nd Mar, (RCT-2, MEB-A Fwd), 2d Mar Division, out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Pierson, 19, is survived by his mother, Susan Wilding; step father, John Wilding; sister Sarah Catania; and step sister Erin Wilding.
