Wednesday: Governor Malloy Attends Starwood Headquarters Kick-Off Ceremony in Stamford
On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend a kick-off ceremony and press conference to celebrate the new global corporate headquarters of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's biggest hotel operators, which will be moving later this year from White Plains, NY to its new offices in Stamford. During the ceremony, a new street sign will be unveiled, officially renaming the office’s address from 333 Ludlow Street to One StarPoint. The company’s move to Stamford is expected to bring 800 jobs into the state.

Thursday: Gov. Malloy Attends GE Solar Carport Event, Honors Connecticut's Fallen Service Members
On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Luis Ramírez, CEO of GE Energy Industrial Solutions, at the unveiling ceremony of the GE Electric Vehicle Solar Carport in Plainville. The carport is one of the largest solar-powered electric vehicle carport projects in North America, linking renewable energy with electric vehicles.
