Motorcycle Endorsement
Waiver for Out-of-State Active Military Personnel
Any active duty military personnel, who holds a Connecticut Driver's License, is currently stationed out of state or country, and has successfully completed an approved Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Course Rider Education Course may be waived for the motorcycle endorsement examination.
What to do:

Applicant must complete and sign Application for Duplicate Driver License or Non Driver ID by Mail (form B-350) and Application for Non Commercial Driver License (form R-229).

Applicant must provide a photocopy of his/her valid military ID.

Applicant will mail or e-mail the military ID photocopy, the Application for Duplicate Driver License or Non Driver ID by Mail (form B-350) and Application for Non Commercial Driver License (form R-229), a MSF Basic Rider Education course certificate as proof of successful completion and a duplicate fee to:

Please allow two weeks for processing. A duplicate license with a M endorsement or an M endorsement with a "3" restriction will be sent directly to the address provided.
