Gov. Malloy Formally Ends Civil Preparedness Emergencies from Hurricane Sandy and February Blizzard
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today signed Executive Order No. 33, which formally ends the state of civil preparedness emergencies declared by the Governor on October 27, 2012 and February 8, 2013. The order also rescinds the previously issued executive orders related to the storms.

Gov. Malloy: Navigators Group Moving Corporate Headquarters from NY to CT
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that The Navigators Group, Inc., an international specialty insurance holding company, will move its corporate headquarters and additional operations from New York to Stamford, Connecticut. The project is expected to create 200 jobs in the state within the next five years.

Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, March 15 at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford to discuss items that have been proposed to the committee for further consideration and possible inclusion in their interim report, which they anticipate releasing on Monday, March 18.

Gov. Malloy: $9.6 Million for Step Up Incentives will Create Jobs for More than 1,000 Unemployed Veterans and Jobseekers
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Bond Commission has approved $9.6 million for the continuation of the state's Subsidized Training & Employment Program (STEP UP), which provides small businesses and manufacturers two types of hiring incentives – a scaled, six month Small Business Wage Subsidy Program and a Small Manufacturer Training Grant Program that provides up to $12,500 over a six-month period.
