State Reaches False Claims Act Settlement with Norwich Behavioral Health Practice
A Norwich behavioral health practice and its co-owners, a mother and her daughter who are both licensed behavioral health clinicians, have agreed to a $300,000 settlement to resolve alleged violations of Connecticut's False Claims Act, Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Social Services (DSS) Commissioner Roderick L. Bremby said today.

Connecticut Enters Joint State-Federal False Claims Act Settlement with Waterford Behavioral Health Provider
The state and federal governments have reached a joint settlement resolving allegations that a Waterford psychologist submitted false claims for behavioral health services she never provided to her Connecticut Medicaid patients, Attorney General George Jepsen and Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) Commissioner Roderick L. Bremby said today.

State Reaches Settlement in False Claims Act Lawsuit Against Waterbury Behavioral Health Provider
The state has reached a $200,000 settlement with a Waterbury behavioral health clinician, along with two behavioral health practices he owns or controls, that resolves a lawsuit alleging the providers engaged in a long-term scheme to defraud Connecticut's Medicaid program.

Connecticut Reaches Joint State-Federal False Claims Act Settlement with New Haven, Bridgeport Behavioral Health Provider
A behavioral health and substance abuse treatment provider with locations in New Haven and Bridgeport and its owners have agreed to pay $1,378,533 to resolve a joint state-federal investigation into allegations that they submitted false claims for payment to Connecticut's Medicaid program, Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Social Services (DSS) Commissioner Roderick L. Bremby said today.

State Files False Claims Act Lawsuit against East Hartford Behavioral Health Provider
The state has filed a lawsuit against an East Hartford-based licensed clinical social worker and her company alleging that they billed the state's Medicaid program for services that were not provided to Medicaid recipients, in violation of the Connecticut False Claims Act, Attorney General George Jepsen and state Department of Social Services (DSS) Commissioner Roderick L. Bremby said today.
