"A New Life and a New Chance"
Proyecto Nueva Vida - PNV (Project New Life) is a successful program designed to augment treatment opportunities for Latinos and Latinas with mental health and substance use conditions.   
A partnership between DMHAS, the Department of Children and Families and the Judicial Branch which embraces the ideas of safety, permanency, treatment and recovery. The ultimate goal is to achieve life supporting results for a family that will last a lifetime. 
Employment is an important step in the recovery process for individuals with mental health and substance use conditions.  Read about the success that DMHAS' River Valley Services has had in assisting people to obtain and sustain employment.
Simple measures can have amazing results in helping individuals sustain their recovery. The Telephone Recovery Support Initiative is one such measure where people in recovery volunteer their time to help others.
