      STATE POLICE RECOVER STOLEN VEHICLES, SEIZE GUNS, MAKE ARREST

   On 01/20/2011 Connecticut State Police Auto Theft Task Force working with Shelton Police, and assisted by Stratford and Bridgeport Police, executed a

Search & Seizure Warrant at the residence and garage located at #29 Allen St., 

in Stratford.

   Upon entry and search of the premises Troopers and officers located five (5) vehicles seized that had been reported Stolen as listed below. Also seized were 21 shotguns and rifles and 8 pistols.

    

   The weapons were seized as the subject who claimed ownership of the

firearms is a convicted felon who cannot legally possess firearms. In addition, Troopers also located and seized Ten (10) packets of Suspected Cocaine, One

(1) packet of suspected marihuana and multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia.

   One subject was taken into custody at the scene and additional arrests are anticipated.

   This cooperative investigation originated with the Shelton Police Department.

ARRESTED: Arturo MOLINARY-MATOS            Age: 53

                       29 Allen Street, Stratford, CT.

CHARGES: 53a-217. Criminal Possession of Firearms (29 Counts)

53-202c. Possession of an Assault Weapon (1 Count),

29-33b. Illegal Transfer of Firearm (3 Counts)

14-149a. Operating a Chop Shop

53a-123. Larceny second degree (5 Counts)

21a-278b. Possession of Narcotics WITS, 21a-279a. Possession of Narcotics,

21a-279c. Possession of Marihuana, 21a-267c. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

   The accused was held on $10,000 bond to appear in Superior Court GA # 2 Bridgeport on 01/21/2011

1994 Harley-Davidson Sportster MC. Stolen 08/23/1997 from Fairfield, CT

1997 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide, Stolen 10/30/1997 from Milford, CT

1969 Volkswagon Bug, Stolen 06/22/2000 from Norwalk, CT
