State Police Make Arrest In Court House Bomb Threat

Today, 05/03/11, at approximately 10:45 a.m. a telephone threat was received at GA #14, Hartford Superior Court, 101 Lafayette St. Hartford.  The caller indicated a bomb was in the building.

State Police and Hartford Police responded to the courthouse. The courthouse was evacuated and a search of the building was initiated by Troopers, Judicial Marshals, and Hartford officers. State Police K-9 bomb dogs also responded and searched the building. State Police Major Crime Detectives responded to conduct the criminal investigation into this threat.
