               STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN COMPUTER CRIME CASE

Arrested #1:   Kiran Kumar Moluguri DOB 10/07/79

                    1450 Worcester Rd. Apt 8507

                    Framingham, MA

Charges:        

Criminal attempt at Sexual Assault 2nd degree

Criminal attempt at Impairing the Morals of a Minor

Criminal attempt at Enticement of a Minor 

Obscenity in violation of C.G.S. 53a-194

   The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit working with
Massachusetts State Police Computer Crimes Unit concluded a criminal
investigation with the arrest of an accused from Massachusetts after the
suspect arranged on the internet to meet a minor for sex.  The suspect

was not aware he was communicating with an undercover Trooper in
Connecticut who wason–line.

   The accused was arrested today when he arrived in Meriden, Connecticut,
about noon to pick up the underage female for sex.  This arrest originated
from an investigation regarding online enticement by the suspect via the
Internet and online accounts used by the suspect.  Several items were seized
from the suspect’s vehicle and his residence will be examined by Massachusetts
authorities. 

   The suspect was transported and processed at Connecticut State Police
Troop I in Bethany where he was processed and held on $75,000 bond. 
He will be presented in Superior Court GA #7 Meriden,CT on August 5, 2011.
