State Police Make Arrest in Assault on Infant Child

On March 7, 2011 Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime Squad (EDMCS) at Troop D received a complaint from the Dept. of Children and Families (DCF) regarding a suspicious injury observed on a 3 month old infant from Brooklyn, Ct. Detectives conducted an investigation with Investigators from the DCF into the matter.

Investigators learned that a 3 month old infant who was being treated at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, Ma. was observed to have a suspicious injury. EDMCS Detectives conducted interviews regarding the injury. On March 8, 2011 DCF was notified by UMASS that the infant was discovered to have additional serious injuries. Detectives conducted further interviews into the incident. As a result of investigation, arrest warrants were issued for the arrest of Ryan Gadomski. 

On March 17, 2011 Gadomski surrendered himself to Troop D for the outstanding warrants. Detectives arrested and processed Gadomski on the warrants and held him on bonds totaling $125000.00.

No further arrests are expected.

                       Assault 2nd Degree

A separate warrant was issued for Gadomski for a domestic violence incident involving Gadomski and the infant’s mother.

Disorderly Conduct

Risk of Injury to a Minor

BOND:           $125000.00 for all charges
