                 STATE POLICE MAKE ADDITIONAL ARREST

        IN WINDSOR LOCKS FATAL CRASH INVESTIGATION

   The investigation into the fatal crash in Windsor Locks on October 29,2010, is on-going.  The Connecticut State Police, at the request of the Hartford State’s Attorney, have continued to investigate all of the facts and circumstances related to the entire fatal crash incident.

   As a result of information and leads developed by State Police Detectives in this investigation, an arrest warrant application was submitted to Hartford  Superior Court for the arrest of Robert Koistinen.

   Today, 01/07/11, the arrest warrant was issued by the court for the arrest of the accused.

   The accused was advised of the warrant and he did surrender at 11:30 a.m. to State Police at Troop H in Hartford. He was processed and released on $10,000 non-surety bond to appear in Hartford Superior Court on 01/11/11.

CHARGES:

Hindering Prosecution, 3rd Degree, in violation of CGS 53a-167

Interfering with an Officer, in violation of CGS 53a-167a
