Statewide Narcotics Task Force

Makes Narcotics Arrests in New Haven

           

On October 21, 2011, Detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force South Central Field Office concluded an investigation into a known illegal narcotics dealer by executing two search and seizure warrants.

The State Police Tactical Unit executed the first warrant at 379 Sherman Avenue, 1st Floor, in New Haven and the second one was executed on the target’s vehicle.

The main target, Eudell McKinnie Jr. (DOB:03/24/60), was located and arrested for on-site narcotics- related charges, as well as three narcotic sales arrest warrants.

Located in the residence were approx. 1.2 grams of “crack” cocaine, two grams of marijuana, a .380 cal handgun, $4,132 in cash and several items of packaging material. A 2006 Cadillac CTS was also seized.

Also arrested on-scene for narcotics and gun charges were Maurice Wearing (DOB: 05/23/89) and Sharon Guyten (DOB: 11/7/64) both of the above address.

The Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Unit South Central Field Office is comprised of State Police Detectives as well as Officers from New Haven, Orange, Woodbridge and Cheshire Police Departments.
