Troopers Make Pawn Shop Arrest

On 12/29/09, State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad were conducting investigations into residential burglaries where items of value were stolen. The criminal investigation led to the Tri-State Pawn Shop located at 370 Riverside Dr., Thompson.

Detectives determined facts and information relative to the pawn shop that led Detectives to submitting an arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused in this case.

Through the course of their investigation, Detectives found the Tri-State Pawn Shop to be improperly licensed and that the accused failed to maintain proper pawn shop records.  Detectives were granted an arrest warrant for the accused.  The accused was taken into custody without incident.
