STATE TROOPERS MAKE ARREST IN BOMB THREAT INCIDENT

In October 2009 a criminal investigation was conducted at Bridgeport Superior Court GA#2, 172 Golden Hill St., by State Troopers after a bomb threat was reported to Troop G in Bridgeport.

During this investigation State Troopers gathered facts and circumstances regarding the complaint of an anonymous bomb threat that was phoned in to the State Attorney’s Office.  Troopers determined facts in this investigation that led them to submit an arrest warrant application to Superior Court in Bridgeport.

ACCUSED:           Michael Metcalf        DOB: 1/11/89

                            65 Oakleaf St.

                            Bridgeport, Ct.

CHARGES:           1.) Threatening 1st degree

                            2.) Breach of Peace

The accused was arrested on 1/21/2010 by arrest warrant and held at Bridgeport Correctional Center on a $25,000 bond where he is presently being held on unrelated charges.  Court date information to follow.  The charges are the result of an investigation that stemmed from 2 anonymous phone calls placed to the State Attorney’s Office of the Bridgeport Superior Court.
