STATE TROOPERS ARREST HOLYOKE MAN

DATE:                        February 11, 2010 at approximately 1000 hours.

ACCUSED/

ARRESTED:              BARKYOUMB, Paul C.        D.O.B 09/11/70          Age: 39

                                    11 Manor House Court, Holyoke, Massachusetts 

                                   

CHARGES:                Harassment 2nd Degree C.G.S. 53a-183 (2 Counts)

                                                                       

BOND:                       $5,000 Non-Surety

DATE:                        February 16th, 2010

On the above date and time the Central District Major Crime Squad served an active arrest warrant on Paul C. Barkyoumb (D.O.B. 09/11/70) from Holyoke, Massachusetts.  On 09/10/09 CDMC received a complaint from an ex-girlfriend who is employed with the State of Connecticut who reported that she received harassing text messages that she identified were from the accused while at her place of employment.  After a lengthy investigation into the allegations, CDMC Detectives secured an arrest warrant for the accused.  The accused turned himself in to the Connecticut State Police where he was taken into custody for two counts of Harassment 2nd Degree in violation of C.G.S. 53a-183.  The accused was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond with a scheduled court date of 02/16/10 for the Hartford Superior Court GA-14.
