            STATE POLICE MAKE NARCOTICS ARRESTS IN STRATFORD
   Today, 03/12/10, State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force Detectives, assisted by Stratford Police and the DEA, executed a Search and Seizure Warrant on Ernesto Caribe,  his apartment, (located at 338 Jackson Ave Stratford, CT), and two cars.  The search warrant was obtained after undercover narcotics detectives developed information regarding illegal narcotics activity taking place.  Investigators applied to Superior Court for a search warrant to conduct this search operation.  The search warrant was issued by the court.
   On 3/12/2010 at approximately 7:00 a.m., State Police Narcotics Detectives and investigators from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force executed the search and seizure warrant at the accused residence.  Narcotics Investigators seized prescription pills, including Oxycontin, Amitriptyline, Butalbital, Codine, Roxicodone, Adderall, Diazepam, Temazepam, Dextroamphetamine, and Steroids.  Also seized were a surveillance camera security system, a 1994 Ford Mustang, a 2003 Ford Explorer, a 60 “ Flat screen TV, and $4507.00 in cash.  The estimated street value of the seized pills is approximately $65,000.00. 
   It was determined, that a nine year old child was living at the residence.  DCF was called and also responded to the scene.  The child was placed with relatives.      
   Both accused were taken into custody and transported to Troop G where they were processed and held to appear in Superior Court GA #2 on Monday 3/15/10.

BOND $350,000
