STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN WOODBURY HOME INVASION

Today, 01/14/10, at 3:04 a.m. State Police Troop-L Litchfield received a 911 call reporting that a home invasion had taken place at a residence located 302 Tuttle Road in Woodbury.  Troopers and Officers from the Woodbury resident State Troopers Office responded to the scene.

Troopers obtained a physical description of the suspects and also learned that two suspects were armed and entered the residence. They tied up the occupants of the house and took several items from the home.  There were no injuries sustained during this incident.  

State Police Major Crime Detectives responded to conduct the investigation into this incident.  All surrounding police departments were notified of this incident and of a description of the suspects and suspects vehicle. Detectives and troopers searched the residence for physical and forensic evidence. Troopers determined this to be an  isolated incident and developed information and leads regarding suspects in this case.

1)  Eduardo Malave (date of birth 03-02-1987)

Charges – Conspiracy (Home Invasion) 53a-48 (53a-100aa), Home Invasion 53a-100aa,  Conspiracy (Robbery 1st Degree) 53a-48 (53a-134), Robbery 1st 53a-134, Conspiracy (Unlawful Restraint 1st Degree) 53a-48 (53a-95), Unlawful Restraint 1st Degree 53a-95. (held in lieu of a $750,000 bond)

Charges – Conspiracy (Home Invasion) 53a-48 (53a-100aa), Aiding and Abetting (Home Invasion) 53a-8 (53a-100aa), Conspiracy (Robbery 1st Degree) 53a-48 (53a-134), Aiding and Abetting (Robbery 1st) 53a-134 (53a-134), Conspiracy (Unlawful Restraint 1st Degree) 53a-48 (53a-95). (held in lieu of a $500,000 bond)
