                            STATE POLICE INVESTIGATING
                                BREAK IN AT DMV IN WATERBURY

         On Monday morning, February 1, 2010, at approximately 6:45 a.m., the Connecticut State Police at Troop A received a complaint from a maintenance worker at the Department of Motor Vehicles, 2210 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury.

State Police responded to the scene and discovered that a rear door to the building had been broken into.

Detectives from the Western District Major Crime Squad  responded and are conducting the investigation into this incident.

The investigation is continuing this morning.
