SEARCH WARRANTS IN TOLLAND COUNTY RESULT IN MULTIPLE ARRESTS & NARCOTICS SEIZURE

On February 3, 2010, the Statewide Narcotic Task Force - East Field Office assisted by the Mansfield Resident Troopers Office & State Police, Troop C-Tolland executed (2) separate narcotic related search warrants for the following (2) residences within Tolland County: 43 Burt Latham Road, Willington, CT., & 137 Spring Hill Road, Mansfield, CT. These search warrants were the result of a joint investigation by SNTF-East & the Mansfield Resident Troopers Office and resulted in the arrest of (5) individuals for various narcotic related charges.  Investigation revealed that amounts of illicit narcotics were being sold and stored within these residences. Over 2-pounds of marijuana was seized with an estimated local street value of approximately $10,000.00 dollars.

Seized: 1.2 pounds marijuana, $310.00 US Currency, an amount of MDMA, a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup & items of drug paraphernalia.
