Heroin Investigation Concludes With Arrest & Weapon Seizure

On February 2, 2010, the Statewide Narcotic Task Force - East Field Office assisted by the Groton City Police Department with a joint narcotic related investigation within Groton area. This investigation lead to the execution of a narcotic related search warrant for the location of 87 Bishop Ave, Groton City, CT. Investigation revealed that the accused were selling and storing quantities of illicit narcotics within the residence,

Seized was: 20 grams of raw heroin, 26 bundles of heroin (260 individual bags packaged for sale), an amount of powder cocaine, $6,877.00 US Currency, a Colt 45 Handgun engraved US Army & items of drug paraphernalia. The heroin seized has a street value of approximately $5,000.00 dollars
