                 STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY IN MORRIS

The Connecticut State Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Morris.

            On September 21, at approximately 22:32 hours, two suspects robbed the Xtra Mart convenience store at 1 Thomaston Road in Morris at gunpoint.

            Both suspects were wearing dark-colored bandanas. One suspect is described as a white female wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and gray sweat pants. The other suspect is described as a white male wearing a green and gray fleece and black sweat pants.

            No one was injured in this incident.

            State Police are continuing their investigation into the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop L at (860) 626-7900.
