SEARCH WARRANT FOR NARCOTICS

ARRESTS MADE, EAST LYME

On June 17, 2008, during the evening hours, members of the East Lyme Police, the East Lyme Resident State Trooper and Statewide Narcotics Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant at 153A Pennsylvania Avenue in the Niantic section of East Lyme, Connecticut after an extensive investigation into the sale of marijuana from that address.  During the execution of the warrant, Officers and Troopers seized several pounds of marijuana packaged for sale, $4243.00 in cash, two firearms and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.  Arrested as a result of this seizure was:

Travis L. Pullen     DOB 09/03/1986

153A Pennsylvania Avenue, Niantic, CT

Charges:

1)      Operating an Drug Factory

2)      Possession of Marijuana

3)      Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell

4)      Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell Within 1500 feet of a school

5)      Possession of Drug paraphernalia.

Pullen was held in lieu of a $50,000 Cash Bond and is scheduled to appear in court at GA-10 in New London on 06/18/2008.

Information gleaned during the execution of this search warrant led investigators to 8 Atwood Drive in the Niantic section of East Lyme where approximately ½ pound of marijuana packaged for sale and drug paraphernalia was seized.  Arrested as a result of this seizure was:

Melissa Keegan    DOB 07/01/1986

8 Atwood Drive, Niantic, CT

Charges:

1)      Possession of Marijuana

2)      Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell

3)      Possession of Drug paraphernalia. 

Keegan was released on a $5000.00 Non Surety Bond and is scheduled to appear in court at GA-10 in New London.
