                2008 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND STATS

(FINAL UPDATE)

The State Police holiday operation remained operational throughout the Holiday Weekend. The program is not solely to issue tickets, but to remind motorists, as we begin the summer season, to use good highway safety sense and keep our highways accident free.

The Connecticut State Police are asking all motorists to join the State Police team throughout the summer months. All motorists are asked to exercise caution on the roads and report any suspected drunk driver by calling 911 this is a true emergency
