       STATE POLICE MAKE ARRESTS IN HIGH SCHOOL DISTURBANCE

Today Wednesday, 05/07/08 at about 12:30 p.m. RHAM (Regional High School for Hebron, Andover and Marlborough) School Resource Officer Trooper Jon Holston #794 was present in the cafeteria when a verbal dispute began between a group of students. The Trooper attempted to intervene

The Trooper and  Principal Don Wilson attempted to calm the matter when the dispute became physical with nine students fighting.  During the fight  Tfc Holston sustained a minor injury and Principal Don Wilson sustained a minor  laceration. Additional State Troopers from the area responded to RHAM High School in Hebron for the report of a large fight in the cafeteria and upon their arrival order was quickly restored. 

The investigation identified the nine people involved in this fight and all nine were taken into custody by State Police.  

The students were separated and subsequent investigation resulted in nine arrests. 
  • Two juveniles were charged with Breach of Peace and Assault 3rd Degree with one of the juveniles also charged with Assaulting a Police Officer.  
  • Three Youthful offenders were charged with Breach of Peace and Assault 3rd Degree. 
  • Four 18 year old students were charged as follows:
          1.   McNary, Ryan   age 18   DOB 01/04/1990  

                     Charges:  Breach of Peace, Assault 3rd & Assault of Police Officer

           2.   Hopson, Tyler  age 18   DOB 04/23/1990   

                     Charges:   Breach of Peace, Assault 3rd & Assault of Police Officer

           3.   Ost, Axel   age 18    DOB 12/13/1989  

                     Charges:   Breach of Peace, Assault 3rd & Assault of Police Officer

            4.  Kelly, Michael  age 18   DOB 03/14/1990  

                     Charges:   Breach of Peace, Assault 3rd 

These four adults and youthful offenders will appear GA #19 Rockville  5/20/08.

Juveniles will appear Juvenile Court Windham .
