Bank Robbery Beacon Falls CT
   On Monday, December 1, 2008, at 2:54 p.m., a bank robbery was reported to the State Police from the Naugatuck Valley Saving Bank located at 127 South Main Street in Beacon Falls.
   Troopers and subsequently State Police Detectives responded to the scene.
   Based on the information learned from witnesses at the scene, the following information is being released in regards to the perpetrator:  white male, approximately 50 years of age, approximately 5'-9" and 200 lbs, wearing a red or pink flannel jacket, sunglasses and a black knit cap.
   Originally additional information from the scene indicated that the perpetrator may have fled the area in a red mini van with a female operator that information has since been dismissed.  
   The suspect displayed no weapon, used verbal commands to perpetrate the robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
   No injuries were reported at this crime scene.
