Mad Hatter’s Tea Children’s Crafting Workshop

Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) invites families to “Go ‘Mad’ for Tea” at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Crafting Workshop at the Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. 
This tea workshop will teach children the history of tea and tea etiquette.  Kids and the young at heart will also make handcrafted herbal tea blends, tea hats, and tea accessories.
 
The program is free and appropriate for ages 8 and up. Refreshments will be provided.

The Kellogg Environmental Center, is open 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and is located at 500 Hawthorne Avenue in Derby, off of Rte. 34.
