  The DEEP Forestry Division has begun a timber harvest at Camp Columbia State Forest in Morris.

  On Saturday, December 16, 2017 evening at 6:45 p.m., Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police Officers responded to Pachaug Pond in Griswold for a report of a missing snowmobiler.

  On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at approximately 1:30 pm Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police Officers at the request of Wethersfield Police safely captured Kevin the Turkey of Wethersfield in the vicinity of Jordan Lane and the Silas Deane Highway.
