Recommendations for receiving a prescription:
  • Call the pharmacy ahead of time to ensure the product is in stock; if it is not currently available, most pharmacies can obtain the medication within 24 hours. 
  • Verify when a trained pharmacist is working to receive a naloxone prescription.
