Overview
The Supplier Diversity Program, also known as the Set-Aside Program, assists Connecticut Small and Minority Businesses (SBE/MBE) to identify business opportunities for improved economic growth. The Program is also charged with establishing and administering the process for certification of Connecticut SBE/MBE companies. Additionally:
The office of Supplier Diversity, a specialized team within the Division of DAS Procurement works to make a difference for all CT based Small/Minority Businesses. Our team does this through the following services:

Markets and recruits Connecticut small, women, minority and disabled-owned businesses to participate in the Program

Assists SBE/MBE businesses in identifying procurement opportunities in state government

Measures SBE/MBE spending by state agencies

Outreach planning and hosting business events

Introduce CT small businesses to the federal registration system
