Update your business name online by filing an amendment.
If you want to change or edit the name of your business, you can file an amendment that is specific to the type of business entity you have. For example, if you have a CT Limited Liability Company, you need to complete the Certificate of Amendment listed under Domestic Limited Liability Company Forms.
