When renewing at the West Haven City Hall, U.S. Citizens will have a choice of a regular or
verified license or ID Card. Please see information on the Real ID Program.
Non-U.S. Citizens will need to visit a DMV office to apply for a verified renewal.
This office does not process the following license-related services:

Commercial Drivers' Licenses (CDL).
- Licenses with endorsements/restrictions for public passengers.
- Suspended drivers' licenses. Your license will not be renewed until your license privilege is restored. See how to resolve a license suspension.

Take Exit 42 (Sawmill Road). Take a right off the exit. Follow to Main Street. Take a left onto Main Street. City Hall will be on your left. Please follow signs to DMV for parking.

Take Exit 42 (Sawmill Road). Take a right off the exit. Follow to Main Street. Take a left onto Main Street. City Hall will be on your left. Please follow signs to DMV for parking.
Traveling the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway North or South:
Take Exit 57-58 towards West Haven/New Haven. Follow Route 34 to Racebrook Road towards Route 1/Orange. Take a left onto Route 1. Take a right onto Bull Hill Lane which turns into Sawmill Road. Follow to Main Street. Take left onto Main Street. City Hall will be on your left. Please follow signs to DMV for parking.
