State Police Detectives Seek Suspect ID in Westbrook Bank Robbery
Westbrook, CT. (May 5, 2017): State Police detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Key Bank on the Boston Post Rd. in Westbrook on May 5, 2017.
May 5, 2017 approximately 4:30 p.m., Troop F - Westbrook responded to a bank robbery at the Key Bank, 1238 Boston Post Road in Westbrook.

A weapon was implied, but not displayed. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, unshaven, wearing black rimmed sunglasses and a navy blue, hooded rain jacket with a white “POLO” logo lettering. The suspect was also wearing a white undergarment-type clothing covering his wrist and hands, and was wearing jeans.

The suspect may have fled in a grey SUV-type vehicle that was parked in the rear of an adjacent business. No injuries were reported. during the incident.

State Police detectives from Central District Major Crime responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
