The Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council Police Training Academy (Connecticut Police Academy) is scheduled for an on-site assessment as it seeks reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). As part of the on-site assessment, members of the public and employees are invited to offer their comments by calling (203) 427-2630 on Tuesday, September 12,2017, between 3:00PM and 5:00PM.

Telephone comments during the call-in period are limited to ten minutes and must address the Police Academy's ability to comply with Commission Standards. A copy of the Standards is available by contacting William E. Tanner, III, the Police Academy's Accreditation Manager. He can be reached at 203-427-2606 or william.tanner@ct.gov
