STATE POLICE MAKES LARCENY ARREST
ARRESTED:        Sheppard, Rachel V.   DOB 11.28/77
                           28 Church St.
                           Ambler, PA
CHARGES:         Conspiract to Commit Larceny 1st Degree (53a-122)
COURT:             December 27, 2010
                           Danielson Superior Court GA11
On Monday, December 13, 2010 at approximately 7:55am, detectives from the Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad at Troop D arrested Rachel V. Sheppard on an outstanding arrest warrant.  Sheppard turned herself in to Troop D on an arrest warrant issued by the Superior Court GA11 for the crime of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 1st Degree. 
After an extensive investigation conducted by detectives, the warrant was issued regarding her involvement in the theft of antiques from a home in Hampton, Ct. 
Sheppard was processed on the warrant and released on a $25,000.00 Non-surety bond and given a court date in Danielson Superior Court on 12/27/10.
No further arrests are expected.
