 UPDATE - STATE POLICE MAKE ARRESTS IN ASSAULT  

IN BURLINGTON CONNECTICUT

      On July 20, 2009 at about 10:48 a.m. Troopers from the Connecticut State Police Troop L responded to a 911 emergency call concerning an assault that had occurred at 73 Lyon in Burlington, CT.

     Troopers responded to the scene and learned this incident involved two male occupants (victims) who reported that they had been assaulted by 3-4 male assailants, who subsequently fled the scene. 

    State Police Troopers on patrol located and stopped a suspect vehicle fitting the description of the assailants’ vehicle at the intersection of Rt. 8/118 and four suspects were taken into custody.

    State Police Western District Major Crime Squad Detectives processed the crime scene and continued the investigation.

      The victims Thomas A. Adamaitis DOB: 03/08/1986 of 73 Lyon Road and Shane R. Levesque DOB: 02/11/1985 of Plainville, CT suffered non-life threatening injuries; both were treated at the scene by EMS Personnel.

     Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad charged the occupants of the suspect mini-van with the following criminal violations:  1) Sergio Scenderini (date of birth 01-30-1975) of New Britain Burglary 1st, Assault 2nd, Criminal Attempt – Robbery 2nd  ($300,000 bond)   2) Kennedy Johnson (date of birth 01-03-1978) of Meriden Burglary 1st, Assault 2nd, Criminal Attempt – Robbery 2nd  ($300,000 bond)   3) Curtis Watford (date of birth 04-22-1972) of Meriden  Aiding and Abetting – Burglary 1st  and Breach of the Peace ($100,000 bond).  4) Leonard Bunch (date of birth 10-14-1975) of Meriden Aiding and Abetting – Burglary 1st and Breach of the Peace ($100,000 bond).
