                STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE

              RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT CASE

On 09/09/09 at 10:40 PM, State Police Troop D in Danielson received a 911 call from a resident of Quaddick Town Farm Rd Thompson, Ct. reporting that a bullet just struck his house and came into his bedroom.

State Troopers from Troop D responded and secured the scene and searched the area for suspects and vehicles. State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad responded to the scene to investigate.

The investigation revealed that the homeowner was in his bed when a shotgun slug traveled through the south wall of his bedroom above where he was lying in bed, and then penetrated a window casing on the adjoining wall. The homeowner was not injured in the incident. Voices and a car were heard fleeing from the area immediately after the blast.

State Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Detectives at Troop D at 860 779-4900 or the Anonymous Crime Tips Hotline at 860 779-4944.
