State Police initiated an extensive criminal investigation in April, 2008 after detectives received a complaint that a wireless communication device was conveyed into a State of Connecticut correctional facility.

The criminal investigation revealed facts and circumstances that caused State Police Detectives to submit an arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused.

Today shortly after 1:30 p.m. the State Police Central District Major Crime Squad Detectives served the arrest warrant on the accused in this case.

The accused was processed at State Police Troop-H in Hartford. He was released on a $5,000 bond to appear in Superior Court GA #13 Enfield on 01/27/09.
