            STATE POLICE MAKE SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST

The Montville Resident State Troopers Office developed informationfrom the School Resource Officer assigned to the Montville High School on 12/12/08 that the accused, a teacher at that facility, was having "inappropriate relations" with a student.

State Police Eastern District Major Crime Detectives were assigned to worked collectively with Officers from the Montville Resident State Trooper’s Office to identify both the accused and victims in this case.

Investigators conducted numerous interviews and were able to develop leads and information that led State Police Detectives to submit an arrest warrant application to Superior Court GA#21 for the arrest of the accused. The court issued the warrant and the accused surrendered to State Police today to be formally arrested on these charges.

The Montville Officers working at the Montville Resident State Trooper’s Office and assigned as School Resource Officers provided a significant amount of information during this investigation that led to this arrest.

The accused is being presented to GA 21 Norwich Court on $100,000 cash bond.
