Operation Street Sweep”

Fugitive Sweep with East Hartford and Hartford PD.

   On 03/24/09 at 0500 hours State Police in conjunction with the East Hartford Police and Hartford Police Departments, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force and Department of Corrections coordinated a city-wide arrest warrant operation to reduce the number of active violent felony warrants and apprehend individuals wanted who are inhibiting the quality of life within the city of East Hartford and throughout the State of Connecticut.

   This joint operation between the CT State Police and East Hartford Police Department began in late January and was concluded today. The arrest warrants involve violations for numerous offenses including domestic violence, assaults, robbery, violation of parole, failure to appear in court, and Sex Offender violations. 

   Additional CSP and EHPD personnel were deployed and completed Sex Offender “address verifications.”

   This fugitive round up titled, “Operation Street Sweep”, resulted in (71) arrests in total, with this continuing operation. All prisoners were either arraigned or held on court set bonds by GA #12 or 14, Manchester or Hartford Superior Court.
