                                                          UPDATE

                          HOME INVASION TASK FORCE ARREST           

On August 20, 2008, the Connecticut State Police Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force arrested this accused Jorge Santos, age 27, on an arrest warrant for Kidnapping 1st with a Firearm (6 counts), Assault 2nd with a Firearm, Burglary 1st, Robbery 1st, Larceny 1st, Risk of Injury to a Minor, and Conspiracy.

This arrest is as a result of an ongoing criminal investigation into home invasions in several cities and towns across Connecticut which began in June 2007.  This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office, State Police and numerous law enforcement agencies.

The accused was arrested today at Superior Court GA #14, Hartford, where he was being arraigned on other charges in connection with other home invasions. 

The investigations by the task force are continuing.
