                               STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN DANIELSON

                         DOMESTIC ASSAULT/ATTEMPTED FELONY MURDER

               On 09-03-08, at approximately 8:58 a.m., State Police, Troop D, received 
            a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of Rt. 12 and 
            Junior Ave in Danielson. State Troopers and EMS and Fire Personnel 
            responded to the scene.

                  Further investigation and information obtained at the scene determined
            that the vehicle that had struck
 the pedestrian had fled from the scene.
                  

                  State Police accident investigation determined that the collision was

            intentional, and was a continuation of an earlier domestic dispute between

            the accused Tedeschi and his live-in girlfriend.  The female victim was

            transported to Day-Kimball Hospital via Ambulance for treatment of injuries

            and later released.Accused Tedeschi was located at his residence shortly

            after the vehicle pedestrian assault, along with the damaged pick-up truck

            that was involved in this incident. The accused was arrested without incident. 

                  This investigation was conducted by the State Police Major Crime Squad,

            the Killingly Resident State Trooper’s Office and the State Police Accident

            Reconstruction Squad. The investigation is continuing. 

               Accused Tedeschi was transported to Troop D where he is being held

            on a $500,000 bond. He will appear in court on 09/03/08 at GA 11

            in Danielson, CT.

         53a-61 Assault 3rd Degree

         53a-63  Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree

         53a-223 Violation of Protective Order

         53a-181 Breach of Peace 2nd Degree
