MISSING MAN FOUND

STATE POLICE INVESTIGATING
MISSING PERSON CASE

     State Police at Troop F in Westbrook are seeking the public’s help locating a man reported missing Thursday from Westbrook.

     Linwood Epps, D.O.B. 2-14-43, of 6 Oak Drive, Westbrook, was last seen at about 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 walking on his street.  Mr. Epps has a medical condition and is in need of medication.

     Troop F personnel and the Westbrook Fire Department have searched the area and the man’s neighborhood, including going door-to-door to inquire nearby residents.  State Police Canine Teams, along with the State Police helicopter, Trooper One, also assisted in the search. 

     State Police Troopers are  continuing the search today, Sept. 14.

     Linwood Epps is a white male, 5’11”, 190 pounds, medium-heavy set, with black/gray balding hair, a gray beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants and white sneakers.

     Anyone with who may have seen this missing person is asked to contact Troop F at  (860) 399-2100.

   UPDATE: Linwood Epps was located unharmed Friday afternoon. There is no criminal aspect to this incident and State Police have closed the case.
