PAROLEE  VIOLATOR CAPTURED

   On September 21, 2007, at 3:00 a.m., the Department of Correction Fugitive Recovery Team executed a remand to custody order for Parolee Joey Gonzalez, age 29, DOB 03/03/78, of Hartford, Connecticut.  Upon entry into the residence by the Department of Correction Recovery Team, the accused (Gonzalez) threw a bag of heroin (16 grams) out the rear window of the residence. The bag was recovered by members of the State Police Home Invasion Task Force.  Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident and was taken to Troop H in Hartford for processing on this arrest.

   The Department of Corrections is continuing to provide assistance to the State Police with this investigation and the case is ongoing at this time.

     Gonzalez will be remanded to the Department of Correction as a Parolee Violator.
