                                                      UPDATE

               STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE HOME INVASION IN KENT

   On 04/16/07, Connecticut State Police Troop L responded to an emergency call reporting that a home invasion had taken place at a private residence located at 35 Peet Hill Road in Kent, Ct. 

   Responding State Troopers determined that three armed suspects had accosted the victims inside the residence in an attempt to rob the victims.  State Troopers obtained pertinent detailed information regarding the robbery incident. It was also learned that when the suspects left the residence the incident was reported.

   The victims were transported to New Milford Hospital Emergency Room where they were treated and released.

   The residence was secured as crime scene by the State Police Western District Major Crime Squad Detectives who responded to the scene to conduct a criminal investigation into this incident.

   The victims in this incident have been identified as Ann H. Bass,  DOB: 10/19/41, and Julian Leftbridge, DOB: 8/31/47. 

   State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 2006 Jeep Cherokee color black bearing Connecticut Registration 332 ULN that was taken by the suspects from the residence. Anyone who may have observed this vehicle is asked to contact police.

   The case remains under investigation by State Police.  Anyone who was in the Peet Hill Road area and observed any suspicious persons or vehicle is asked to contact the State Police at (860) 567-6800 all calls will be kept confidential.
